Mr Milton

• Born in London in 1962. Moved to USA in 1971. Lived in New York City until I moved to Charlotte North Carolina in 2011. Married with 4 daughters. Grew up in a house where music was always played. My love of music started as early as 1967 when I was 5 years old. I would play my uncle and cousin’s records on their gram. When I moved to America, I would play my dad’s records on our stereo system in 1972. In 1974, we had house and basement parties where I would play the music for the adults. I continued playing music on a deejay level since the age of 12. I joined with my friend Sir David in 1994 and formed the sound M-1 Connection. We worked to establish ourselves as a British based sound in the USA. Roots Rock Revival show was started around 2007-2008. I would record a program in my house and then post it online. After moving to Charlotte, my active role in music dwindled as I concentrated on building a life in North Carolina. My love and passion for music stayed intact. I still collected vinyl and made CD’s. I first heard about Loversrockradio in May 2020. After listening to their shows, I enjoyed the music and the family atmosphere between the presenters and listeners. After becoming a member of the chatroom family, I felt the need to help spread the word about Loversrockradio and the good work they provide during these challenging times In October 2020, I was given the opportunity to showcase my talent on air
